WinDesign6

WinDesign6 is a performance simulation software package that predicts the sailing performance of all types of sailing craft: racing monohulls, canting keel monohulls, large cruising yachts, catamarans, trimarans and dinghies.

 

The internal algorithms are tried and tested and the program is also configured to work with experimentally or computationally derived data.

 

WinDesign6 is developed by Clay Oliver and the WUMTIA, University of Southampton (UK).

 

VERY IMPORTANT: Windesign6 is Brio-enabled!

 

The previous version of this software package-WinDesign4- is currently used by roughly 200 yacht designers worldwide.
