Using AZURE Project, you can model, design, optimize and detail any rig and sail type, including Gaff Sails and Multi Mast Rigs.

AZURE Project is a completely integrated software package, enabling sail designers to work methodically through the various steps of rig modelling, sail mould shape design, panel layouts, corner patches, sail details, fiber layouts, and aeroelastic analysis.

The user-friendly and modular software can be purchased in its various individual modules, enabling the sailmaker to put together his/her own customized software package, containing only those modules that particularly suit the needs of the individual sail loft, be it large or small.

Our Products

Azure Project sail design software is complete, user friendly, and extremely accurate.

All sail types can be designed, including both high and low aspect gaff
sails. Sail measurement rules can be customized, and the checking of these, and the calculation of final sail dimensions, are very precise.

The computed sail panels include individual portions of the final, fully
faired sail edges, and the assembled sail needs no extra fairing or trimming of its
perimeter edges (second layout). This saves much time and labour in production.

 

It is always a challenge to develop the best possible sail shape for a given set of dimensions and conditions.   With comprehensive simulation and analysis features, Azure Project's analysis software calculates the flying shape of your proposed design, resulting from your mould shape, construction and trim.

Cutting edge technology is used to calculate the loads, stresses and deformation of the proposed sail design. Faster, more efficient and accurate designs are the result, saving you both time and money, and enhancing the performance of your sails.

Custom load path oriented fiber laminate, or "string sails", are now in the
mainstream of modern sailmaking, and those sailmakers wishing to embrace
this new technology need state of the art tools for designing appropriate fiber layouts, calculating the necessary fiber density and DPI, and out-putting the finished fiber panels in file formats that meet the specific needs of today's stringing and cutting machinery.
