AZURE Fiber

AZURE Fiber Studio is the name given to the software module that enables sailmakers to design custom fiber layouts for their load-path laminate or 'string sails'.

With this tool, you can design custom fiber layouts using any number of fiber paths, groups of paths, and fibers per path. Designate the individual denier and modulus of the chosen fibers, mix and match these in custom fiber arrays, and monitor the resulting DPI, calculated anywhere you choose on the sail surface.

Detailed modelling tools let you illustrate the results, showing either the paths, or all the individual fibers. Add realism by designating different colours for the various fiber types. Accurately measure the 'window size' (distance between groups of fibers) anywhere on the sail.

Out-put your fiber panel results in any of the popular file formats used by your own or any of today's laminate sail manufacturing facilities.
